Chris's music held my attention because of his lyrical skills, clever rhymes, witty progressive commentary plus the fact that he was from my home state of CT was pretty rad too. Oh, and I could actually understand what he was saying! (unlike "lil what's his name with the face tattoos", am I right or am I right?)

Meet and Greet:
We were let in pretty much on time at 6pm and brought up to meet Chris in small groups / pairs. I really enjoyed the chill, laid back vibe. He seemed genuinely happy to meet people and interact. I. had brought a portrait I drew of him, as I thought he'd appreciate it. He was super kind and receptive to my gift, his reaction totally made my night! He signed my sisters hat and snapped some pics with us. I also want to mention how nice his team members were! Very cool, down to earth dude.
Concert:
Webby's main performance was nothing short of DOPE! Opening with a fan favorite "Raw Thoughts", the crowd was pumped from the get-go. His flow, skill set and vocals and raw emotion were top notch live. Often there is a big difference in sound when rappers perform live (example ; CL formerly of 2ne1), however this wasn't the case with Webby. Each track sounded on par if not better than the recorded studio versions. The live band and DJ were nice touches and added to the overall experience. Some of my favorites live were "Friend Like Me", "Skyline 2" and "Middle Ground."
While performing some of his new hits, a few of the classic Webby songs were thrown in for the long time fans. The energy in the room was insane throughout the concert, the hype never died down and it was surely a memorable night for all who attended.
